What is a paint sealant?
A paint sealant is designed to extend the life of the vehicle's paintwork by protecting it from the various pollutants such as bird droppings, tree sap, road grime and traffic film to name a few. Over time, these pollutants bond to the vehicle's paintwork surface resulting in common paintwork problems such as unsightly marks, oxidization and 'flattening' of the paintwork appearance. The sealant within the Autoglym Lifeshine system acts like an invisible and permanent barrier to the paintwork and helps make the paint more resistant to such long-term damage.
Is it suitable for all vehicles and/or paintwork types?
Yes. Autoglym Lifeshine can be applied to new as well as older cars. If your car is older than 5 years and you wish to have the Autoglym Lifeshine service carried out, the your car is still going to be protected once it has been applied. However, the Autoglym Lifeshine warranty program can only be validated for cars
under 5 years old.
Why should I have the Lifeshine treatment done from you and not at my dealership?
If you are in the process of buying a new car, chances are that the dealership has offered you to have the Lifeshine system applied pre-delivery for over £300. Not a bad idea. Until you consider the following:

Autoglym operate a dedicated Lifeshine/customer support no. details of which are included in the registration certificate which you will receive once the Lifeshine treatment is complete.
